Reunion meeting changed

Members of the Jim Thorpe High School reunion committee will meet on Monday, March 13, at the old Jim Thorpe Junior High School, Center Avenue.

Touchdown Club

Jim Thorpe Olympian Touchdown Club members will meet on Monday, March 13, at 6 p.m. in the commons area of the high school. Family members, and friends of football players for Jim Thorpe are invited to attend the monthly meetings and help with the upcoming events of the club.

Soup and Scripture

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, is holding soup and scripture during this Lenten season. The next gathering is Wednesday, March 7, at 6 p.m.

Guest speaker this week is Ibiyinka Alao from Nigeria and will give a presentation on "Biblical Dramatization."

The ladies of the church will be preparing meal of barbecue.
