Welcomed with open arms

Published March 10. 2012 09:02AM

Dear Editor:

I wanted to write and express my appreciation for the employees at The Hanger in Carbon County Plaza.

I took my students with special needs on a field trip to the Carbon County Plaza to work on teaching them money and shopping skills. When we entered The Hanger, the employee who was working that day welcomed my class with open arms. She made it a point to speak to each child and attempt to engage them in conversation.

In addition, she also gave us several items as a donation to the classroom to help with sensory needs. There should be more people like this in the community!
