Blue Raiders fall

Tamaqua dropped a 3-2 decision to visiting Hamburg in local tennis action Tuesday.

The Hawks swept through the singles matches to prevail in the non-league event.

The Blue Raiders' doubles tandems of Scott Zellner and Christian Gardiner took a straight-set victory, while Sam DePue and Ed Krell also managed the same feat to keep things respectable.

The loss drops Tamaqua to 0-5.
