March 23, 1990 Trevor Steigerwalt tosses a one-hitter to lead Tamaqua to a 6-0 victory over Panther Valley. Steigerwalt strikes out 11 and loses his no-hit bid with one out in the seventh inning when Craig Goida lines a clean single to right. The Raiders' pitcher also delivers two hits at the plate, one of them a two-run single, and scores a pair of runs. The winners, coached by Bob Livingston, also receive an RBI double from Ron Rega.
