An eight-run fourth inning helped Jim Thorpe pull away from a close contest and post a 17-5 non-league win in five innings over Weatherly.
Ian Sterling paced the Olympians with a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the plate, which included two doubles, two runs scored and four RBIs. Teammates Christian Gavornik (two singles) and Bryce Micchiche (single, double, run scored, RBI) also played well..
Brett Stallone led the Wreckers with two singles, a run scored and two RBIs.

Bangor scored three runs in the first and never looked back as the Slaters topped Northern Lehigh 5-2 in Colonial League play.
Kirk Bender (3-for-4), Joel Seyler (2-for-4) and Trevor Yashur (2-for-4) all had big games for the Bulldogs. However, six of the seven hits were singles. The lone extra-base hit came from Yashur when he went deep for a solo homer in the seventh.
Northern Lehigh is now 2-1 overall and 0-1 in league play.

Pen Argyl rallied to upend Colonial League foe Northwestern, 6-2.
Tom Young and Connor Gum each had two hits and a RBI for the Green Knights (2-0).
The Tigers (2-1, 0-1) were led by Peyton Bachman and Tyler Bartholomew. Bachman was 2-for-4 with a double and a run. Bartholomew ended the day 2-for-3 with a RBI.

Pleasant Valley rallied late in its non-league baseball game with Northampton to post a 3-1 victory.
Rob Getz delivered a two-run triple in the fifth to give the Bears (1-1) their first lead of the game. Teammate Jeff Pellei then laid down a perfect suicide squeeze an inning later to plate another run.
Tom Agosta picked up the win for Pleasant Valley. He went six strong, striking out five and allowing just four hits. Dan Hrbek pitched a perfect seventh to earn the save.

Missy Langdon's complete game shutout was key in Bangor's 2-0 Colonial League win over Northern Lehigh.
The Slaters' pitcher had six strikeouts, allowed two walks and was able to keep the Bulldogs away from home plate regardless of allowing six hits.
Northern Lehigh's Amber Kibler pitched well in a losing effort, allowing just two hits.
The Bulldogs' Sarah Frantz finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate.
Northern Lehigh drops to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the league.

Rachel Kester's second half goal was enough to lift Northwestern to a 1-0 Colonial League victory over visiting Southern Lehigh.
Kester scored with 32:24 left in the second half. The Tiger senior scored on a direct kick.
Northwestern outshot Southern Lehigh 19-7 in the game while the Tigers held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. The Tigers' keeper Lorraine Feinour posted two saves. The Spartans' Ally Quilty finished with 12 saves.
The Tigers remain unbeaten at 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the league. Southern Lehigh slips to 1-1 overall.

Three second half goals sparked Saucon Valley to a 4-1 Colonial League victory over Northern Lehigh.
Alyssa Whitman scored two goals for the Panthers.
Sam Eden posted the Bulldogs' lone goal.
Kaylee Owens had 10 saves in goal for the Bulldogs.
