Meed's free dinner

A free community dinner will be held at Meed's Methodist Church, 126 West Catawissa St., on Wednesday May 30 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Senior boxes will be distributed on Friday, June 1 from 10-11 a.m.

NCFC Ladies Auxiliary

The New Columbus Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will hold its dinner on Tuesday, June 5 at 6 p.m.

St. John Lutheran

Tonight at 7 p.m., St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will hold an informal worship. This will be a spiritual, peaceful, evening service with Holy Communion. All are welcome to this relaxed, brief, musical, evening prayer.

For those who wish to come early, a free simple supper is served at 6 p.m., followed by a brief adult Bible study and confirmation program at 6:30.
