Thanksgiving dinner
Our Lady Queen of Peace will host its free community Thanksgiving dinner from 3-4 p.m. in McCawley Hall on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Registration must be made by calling (610) 681-6137 and leaving one's name and how many are coming.
Fall Troop Drive
Operation: Touch of Home is having its fall drive for the troops beginning at 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9 and continuing through Monday, Nov. 12.

Drama production
The Pleasant Valley Middle School will present its drama production of "Dracula: The Twilight Years" at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9 and again at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10.
All Sports Club
The Pleasant Valley All Sports Club will hold its meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12 at the PV High School in Brodheadsville.
Morning meeting
The Pleasant Valley Middle School PAC/PTO will meet at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14.
AARP Driver Safety
Anyone needing the AARP Driver Safety course can take the eight-hour course at the Chestnuthill Township Park Building on Saturday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 8. The two sessions of four hours each will begin at 1 p.m.

Thanksgiving service
The Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network invites the community to join it for a Community Thanksgiving Service at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18 at St. Matthew's UCC Church in Kunkletown.
Medicare comparisons
The Monroe County Area Agency on Aging APPRISE program has free Medicare Part D plan comparisons for Medicare beneficiaries. Among the sites in the outlying county areas is Kinsley's ShopRite in Brodheadsville in the Community Room. The free session will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15.
Plan comparisons will be done by appointment only. Call (570) 420-3735 for an appointment. No walk-ins permitted.
