Scouting for Food

Summit Hill Boy Scout Troop 743 will be distributing Scouting for Food bags throughout Summit Hill on Thursday evening, Nov. 8

The troop will be collecting the filled bags on Saturday morning, Nov. 10, beginning at 9 a.m. All nonperishable food items are welcome.

Please have your bags on the porch, or steps, by 9 a.m. so that the Boy Scouts can collect them. The collected food will go to the Summit Hill Food Pantry.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary

The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nesquehoning Memorial VFW Post 8008 will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 p.m at the Post Home. President Amanda Breiner will preside. All members are urged to attend.
