Senior of the month at Weatherly HS

Krista Lutzick, daughter of Robert and Cheri Lutzick, Weatherly, has been named Senior of the Month for October at Weatherly Area High School.

Krista is the president of Weatherly Area High School's chapter of the National Honor Society. She is a member of the yearbook staff, the newspaper club, and SPARC. Additionally, Krista participates in Science Olympiad, National History Day, and the AMC Math Competition. Her grades have earned her Distinguished Honors repeatedly, from 9th grade through the present.

In the community, Krista is highly involved in fundraising and volunteering. She has raised over $1,600 for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Victims, and has donated her time through assembling Easter baskets, working at various church stands, preparing and serving food for church-related functions, and working at various NHS activities for the Red Cross and the local community.

Within her church, Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Nuremburg, Krista serves as a greeter and scripture reader. She is a teacher's aide at Nuremburg Community Bible School, and also babysits.
