Tree lighting

At 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce will sponsor Christmas on Main Annual Tree Lighting at the Slatington Memorial Park in Slatington.

Join the fun as Santa arrives in Slatington for the annual tree lighting, and enjoy some hot chocolate.

Slatington Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in the Lion's Garage, to set up for Christmas Tree Sales.

At 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, the club will meet at the trailhead and go for the trees. Trucks and trailers are needed. They will then open on Saturday, Nov. 24 for sales.

Club members are urged to sign up for some hours. Weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and daily hours are 4-8 p.m.
