Polk Township Tree Lighting

Polk Township's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1, 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial in Kresgeville. There will be singing and refreshments. Santa will also be arriving.

The Veteran's Memorial is located on Rt. 209, across from the Kresgeville Post Office. Parking is available at the post office or at Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Rain date is Sunday, Dec. 2.

Polk Township Historical Society

Members and friends of The Polk Township Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas Gathering on Monday, Dec. 3 at Cherry's Sunset Family Restaurant in Kresgeville. The buffet dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Reservations and payment are due by Saturday, Nov. 24. Please make checks payable to Cherry's Sunset Family Restaurant. The rest of the year, Polk Township Historical Society meets the first Monday of the month, at 7 p.m. at the Polk Township municipal building.
