SUPPORT GROUP

Blue Mountain Health System Women's Cancer Support Group is providing the opportunity for a Service of Healing at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 at Zion UCC, Second and Iron streets, Lehighton. The Rev. Allen Heckman will lead those present for the fifth annual Service of Healing. The service includes prayers, laying on of hands, and anointing.

Women and men are invited, who feel the hardship of physical illness, plus the burdens that may be financial, psychological, mental or social. It is the hope that after taking part in this meditative observance, the participant feel his or her pain lifted.
