Removing the confusion
Dear Editor:
Recently, the Pennsylvania Court decided to DISMISS the requirement of voters to display a current, government issued, photo identification in order to vote. Earlier, in September, the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth issued a post card notification that voter photo identification IS required to vote.
To remove any confusion by Pennsylvania voters, I wrote the Secretary asking that a revised notification be issued reflecting the courts decision that voter photo identification IS NOT required in the November 6, 2012 election. At present, the only OFFICIAL notification of voting requirements our citizens have is the September voter photo ID requirement. Just a dated post card would be fine.
Sincerely,
