Foreclosure
Aurora Bank, FSB, Scottsbluff, Neb., filed suit against Veronica Medserol alleging she has defaulted mortgage payments on her property at 19 Oak St., Tamaqua.
Warrant hearings
Kevin Anthony Kegolis, 26, Shenandoah, had his bench warrant dissolved and reinstated by Judge Charles M. Miller with special conditions attached. He must reside at 841 W. Penn St., Shenandoah, and cannot relocate without written permission from the district attorney, shall secure a job in 30 days and immediately visit the public defender's office in attempt to secure services. Kegolis faces charges of driving under the influence (DUI). He had been placed in the ARD program but it was revoked and he now faces trial.
Travis Ray Lucas, 27, Donaldson, Tremont Township, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge Miller and bail set at $1,000 unsecured with special conditions. He mst reside at 540 W. Centre St., Donaldson, with a phone number and must not relocate without written permission from the district attorney, must not consume alcohol beverages or controlled substances, shall not travel outside the state without written permission from the district attorney, and shall seek gainful employment in 30 days. Lucas faces charges of stalking and harassment. He previously was in the ARD program.
Geoffrey Michael Mosolino, 29, Pottsville, had his bench warrant dissolved and bail reinstated with special conditions. He must reside at 166 Cadbury St., Palo Alto, and cannot relocate without permission from the district attorney, pay a bench warrant fee of $50, and follow standard bail requirements as originally agreed. Mosolino faces charges of theft.
Christian Matthew Christman, 22, Philadelphnia, had his bench warrant dissolved and bail reinstated with special conditions. He must reside at 5202 F Street, Philadelphia, and must not relocate without first getting permission from the district attorney and pay a bench warrant fee of $379. Christman faces a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana when checked in the parking lot at the state correctional institution in the county.
File for divorce
Thomas Freil, 1215 E. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, filed for divorce from Allison Freil, 211 Railroad St., Delano. They were married Dec. 20, 1996.
Divorces granted
Paul R. Kerestus, was granted a divorce from Deborah A. Kerestus, both of 44 Golf Road, Barnesville. They were married June 16, 1973.
John Ruddy, Hegins, was granted a divorce form Ashley Ruddy, Llewellyn, Branch Township. They were married May 30, 2009.
Gary J. Bersavage, 1 N. Putman St., McAdoo, was granted a divorce from Rosann L. Bersavage, 39 Fourth St., Kelayres, Kline Township. They were married July 7, 1984.
Tyler Raymer was granted a divorce from Tammie Raymer, both of 333 Mush Dahl Road, New Ringgold. They were married Sept. 8, 2001.
Heather M. Henderson, Valley View, Hegins, was granted a divorce from James N. Henderson, Thorsby, Ala. They were married Nov. 21, 2009.
Jilll E. Mataka was granted a divorce from Christopher Mataka, both of Auburn. They were married Nov. 21, 2009.
Claim taxes unpaid
Tamaqua Area School District filed suit against Ernest W. and Marian Shilko alleging they owe back school taxes on their property at 20 S. Orwgisburg St., Tamaqua, in amount of $861.67 and against Jeffrey and Dolores J. Houser alleging they owe back school taxes on property at 242 Van Gelder St., Tamaqua, in amount of $1,064.41.
Guilty plea
Shannon Kiley Reed, 30, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a cell phone in the 400 block of E. Market St., Pottsville, and was sentenced by President Judge William E Baldwin to serve six to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 25 days. The sentence begins Monday, Nov. 12, at 9 a.m. He also must pay $100 to the Substance Abuse Education fund, make restitution of $113 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab, and $20 to the Pottsville Polce Drug Task Force.
Revocations
Jennifer Tess Kramer, 34, Pottsville, had her probaton revoked by Judge Charles M. Miller and was re-sentenced on a charge of hindering apprehension of a person wanted by police and obstructing administration of law to serve three to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving 63 days. Kramer had pleaded guilty to the charrges last November and was placed on probation
Jason Oliver Bivins, 32, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge Miller and re-sentenced on charges of aggravated and assault, and recklessly endangering another person to serve 31 days to 18 months in the county prison. He had entered a guilty plea to the charges in June 2011 and was placed on probation.
Kevin William Kintzel, 23, Port Carbon, had his probation revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and was re-sentenced on a charge of theft from a motor vehicle to serve 29 days to 18 months in the county prison and since he served the minimum sentence was released on parole. Kintzel pleaded guilty to the charges in April 2011 and was placed on probation. He had orginally been placed in the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program but it was revoked. He then pleaded guilty.
Eric M.Lehman, 28, Schuylkill Haven, had his probation revoked by President Judge Willliam E. Baldwin and he was re-sentenced on a charge of loitering and prowling at night to serve three to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 59 days. He had entered a guilty plea to the charge last Nov. 16 and was placed on probation. At that time he was sentenced to pay a fine of $100 on a charge of criminal mischief to a parked vehicle.
Mary Veronica Leonard, 48, Pottsville, had her parole revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and she was recommitted to the county prison with a loss of 554 days of liberty which were added to her current maximum date for release, March 13, 2014. She received credit for serving 20 days in prison. Leonard pleaded guilty in June 2, 2011, to retail theft charges and was placed on probation which was twice revoked.
