Trick or Treat night

Eldred Township's Trick or Treat night is Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. If you would like to participate, please have your porch lights turned on.

Mrs. Bush's

Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Homes is extending an open invitation to the community and to kids of all ages to stop by for a Trick or Treat Night on Wednesday, Oct. 31 between 6-7 p.m. It's fun and safe with over 20 rooms to visit plus there will be light refreshments in the cafe.

St. Matthew's

St. Matthew's UCC will hold its Halloween party on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. There will be prizes for best costumes, games and refreshments.

St. Matthew's also needs homemade baked goods for its Bake Sale next Saturday, Nov. 3. Items are also needed for its Chinese auction. Please bring those items to the church on Friday, Nov. 2 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Operation: Touch of Home

Operation: Touch of Home is looking for names and addresses of area military men and women serving in Afghanistan and other hostile areas overseas to be recipients of its Nov. 11 essential's shipment. Family members or friends with this information are asked to contact: touchofhome@hotmail.com or call (570) 977-1724. Include GI's name, rank, address and deploy dates and your contact info.
