Daniel and Linda DeCindio of Tuscarora have announced the engagement of their daughter, Arlene Lynn DeCindio, to Kevin Patrick Roy, son of Walter and Jeannie Roy of Hampstead, Md.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and the U.S. Naval Academy. Currently on active duty with the U.S. Navy, she is stationed in Virginia.
Her fiance is a graduate of Hereford High School in Maryland. Also a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he is currently stationed in Florida.
The couple is planning a June 2013 wedding.
