Graduates with honors

Sarah L. Dreyer, daughter of Thomas Dreyer and Wendy Dreyer of Lehighton,graduated magna cum laude, from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, Calif., with a 3.07 GPA. She received her associate degree in fashion merchandising and marketing, and was on the dean's list each semester there. Commencement exercises were held on June 16.

Dreyer is a 2010 graduate of Palmerton Area High School, where she graduated with a 3.5 GPA, was on the tennis team, and became a Big Sister.

She is now attending Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J., dual-majoring in Global Supply Chain Management and International Business.
