New Ringgold couple wed 51 years

Mr. and Mrs. Clair J. Zehner Jr. of New Ringgold will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary on Sept. 30. They were married in Zion's Stone Church, New Ringgold, by the Rev. Arthur Kleintop.

Mrs. Zehner is the former Anita Moerder. She owned and operated a beauty shop for 30 years.

Mr. Zehner is retired from the Hexcel Corporation, Pottsville, where he worked for 11 years. Previously, he had been employed at the former Keystone Lamp Factory in Slatington.

The Zehners have two children: Cindy, who resides in Laurel, Md.; and Michael, who resides in Harrisburg with his wife, Jennifer, and two children, Shannon, 11, and Christi, 8.
