Tamaqua couple wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Zlock of Tamaqua recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 22, 1962 at Trinity U.C.C., Tamaqua by the Rev. Joseph Miller.

Mrs. Zlock is the former Janice L. Wetterau, daughter of Helen Wetterau of Tamaqua, and the late Paul Wetterau.

Mr. Zlock is the son of the late Paul and Susan Zlock of Lansford.

The couple have two daughters, Janna Scheese, wife of David Scheese of Sinking Spring, Pa.; and Allison Valentine, wife of James Valentine of Lehighton.

They have three grandchildren: Taylor Scheese, and Makenna and Mallory Valentine.

The Zlocks were honored by family and friends with a celebration diner at La Dolce Casa in Tamaqua. They are also planning an anniversary vacation to Las Vegas.
