Slatington Trailhead

This Saturday, April 6, at 9 a.m., is a work weekend at the Slatington trail head building project.

The group hopes to paint the wood that is exposed to the elements. Help is wanted, as 12 or more people would make it go fast for all.

In the event of rain, the activity will be rescheduled for the following weekend.

Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club will hold a board meeting at the Skeet Club at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.

The Lions Club is in need of wheelchairs. Anyone willing to donate wheelchairs to the Lions should call (610) 703-6822.

Lion David Meixsell is celebrating a birthday April 5.
