Adam Palmer Yaari and Amanda Marie Majetsky
The engagement of Amanda Marie Majetsky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Majetsky of Trenton, Pa., to 2LT Adam Palmer Yaari, son of Dr. Uzi and Mrs. Evelyn Yaari of Bala Cynwyd, Pa. has been announced by the couple's parents.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and a magna cum laude graduate of Lycoming College, where she earned a bachelor of arts in psychology. She is a senior clinical research associate at Alere, Inc. in San Diego, Calif.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Lower Merion High School and a summa cum laude graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in economics. He is also a graduate of the United States Army Officer Candidate School, the United States Army Ranger School, the United States Army Airborne School and the United States Army Air Assault School. Yaari is an Infantry Platoon Leader at Fort Campbell, Ky., and is currently serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom
A wedding is planned for Sept. 6, 2014 at Appleford, Villanova, Pa.
