St. Matthew's UCC
St. Matthew's UCC will have a live Nativity at their Journey to Bethlehem on Sunday, Dec. 14. There will be tours that start at 6:30 p.m. Each walking tour lasts about 15 minutes. When your tour is completed, you may visit the social hall for hot chocolate and cookies. Then at 7:30 p.m. there will be a Christmas cantata, with the combined choirs of St. Matthew's and Effort UMC.
The only cost is a donation of a nonperishable food item.

The cookbooks will be available the week before Christmas.
The church's annual meeting will be on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the 9 a.m. worship service.
Chestnut Ridge Seniors
The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will have their Christmas Dinner at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company. The meal will be catered by Kunkletown General Store.
Exercising seniors
There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10 a.m
