Pleasant Valley Bible classes
The Pleasant Valley Bible Classes have started at the Cornerstone Community Church from 1:30-2:25 p.m. and from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 and will continue until May 2014, for the Pleasant Valley Elementary, Polk and the Pleasant Valley Intermediate students each Friday that school is in session. Permission slips are available at the school offices
Tree lighting
The Polk Township tree lighting ceremony was cancelled due to the weather, and as of this date, has not been rescheduled.
Al-Anon meetings
Al-Anon adult children meetings are held from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays at Salem United Church of Christ, Route 209 and Gilbert Road, Gilbert. If you grew up with a problem drinker, have been affected by another's drinking, Al-Anon is form families, relatives and friends whose lives have been affected by alcoholism, addiction or dysfunction.
