She is a 2006 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She graduated from Penn State University, University Park in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.
In 2012 she graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in exercise science.
She is employed by Foxdale Village in State College.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School.
He graduated from Penn State University Hazleton with a bachelor's degree in business and an associate degree in mechanical engineering.
He is also 2012 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, where he earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural systems management and off-road equipment. He is employed by Mack Trucks Inc., Macungie.
The wedding is set for Dec. 31 at Trinity Lutheran Church in State College.
