Disarming the populace
Dear Editor:
I find it ironic that "Governor" Corbett signed the Straw Purchase Gun Bill into law on January 11, 2013 where he stated "for those who knowingly provide firearms to felons are themselves criminals and worthy of being locked up" yet "president" Barrack Hussein Obama and "attorney general" Eric Holder face no repercussions for arming the Mexican drug cartels via Operation Fast and Furious which resulted in the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and many other innocent Mexican civilians. It seems when you or I do something the strictest interpretations of the law apply but when members of the criminal gang called government do it there is a double standard. What makes Operation Fast and Furious even more outrageous is that this program was supposed to be used as justification to erase our second amendment until it backfired. If this is not a high act of treason I do not know what is.
I know Governor Corbett is busy covering his tracks for his involvement in the Sandusky scandal where he turned a blind eye to the abuses while still receiving 600k in Second Mile Campaign contributions before he approved a $3 million dollar grant for a charity organization he knew was being investigated for sexually abusing children but wouldn't he be serving the public more effectively by ensuring justice is upheld with Obama and Holder rather then a football program. This would make more sense to me especially if he has a cross to bear for the wrongful death of Plymouth Township Police Officer Brad Fox who was according to Corbett "always accountable to his family, his community and his country." Can't the same be said about border agent Brian Terry? But like all megalomaniacs attracted to government positions he will hide behind the use of force to take from us in order to give himself an advantage rather than stand up to a higher power. And when that higher power comes to town asking to disarm Pennsylvanians he will most likely roll over on his back and wait for his belly to be scratched.
Not only did Obama and Holder get a free pass on Fast and Furious but they are once again using the staged and/or real event of Sandy Hook as a reason to disarm the American public. Am I the only one who sees the connection between Fast and Furious and Sandy Hook? The most amazing thing to me about the whole outcry for the ban of assault rifles due to Sandy Hook is that even though the coroner said .223 rounds killed the children an assault rifle was not found next to Lanza (only 2 then 4 handguns) and the long gun removed from the trunk (how would Lanza put it there if he was dead) was a shotgun. Where did the assault rifle come from?
So while outspoken locals like Robert "Ski" Siesputawski are clamoring to allow only members of our military to have assault weapons is this a good idea? Especially when 2009 Nobel Peace Prize nominee Jim Gallow recently went public because he was informed by a former senior military official that the new litmus test for advancement in military leadership is that one must be willing to fire on U.S. Citizens? And after the Department of HOMELAND Security purchased 1.6 billion rounds of hollow points and sniper rounds in 2012 I would say no.
If history is any indication of what happens to a disarmed populace comrade "Ski" should do a little research before he starts pleading for the criminal cartel to strip us of the last thing standing between ourselves and mass genocide. "A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares about more than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." ~John Stuart Mill
