Leandra Green and Daniel Kenny, both of Emmaus, together with their parents, have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lee Green of Lehighton and the late Bonnie Green. She is a graduate of Misericordia University where she earned a bachelor of science in medical imaging. She is employed as a PACS system analyst at Lehigh Valley Health Network and is also the owner of Leandra Elaine Photography.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Daniel and Patricia Kenny of Belvidere, N.J. He is a graduate of Rutgers University, from which he earned a bachelor of arts degree in English, and bachelor of science in political science. He is employed as an export department manager at Door to Door Services. He is also a freelance writer and editor.
The couple is planning a wedding for May 18 of this year.
