Graduates from LCCC

Dennis Confer, son of Dennis and Lisa Confer of Tamaqua, graduated with honors from Lehigh Carbon Community College with an associate degree in Education. The 2010 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School plans to further his education at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C., as he pursues a career in the auto racing industry.

This past Summer, Confer had the opportunity to work on an ARCA race team at the July Pocono race. He is the grandson of Myron and Sandra Frantz of Mantzville.
