PV JROTC

The Panther Valley JROTC Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in the JROTC Room. Cadets, family members, and interested community members are welcome to attend.

Golden Agers

The Panther Valley Golden Agers will hold their next meeting at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 in St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall, 1 E. Abbott St. Members are asked to wear something red to remember Valentine's Day.

PV Youth Soccer

Sign-ups for the spring season of the Panther Valley Youth Soccer Association will take place Wednesday, Feb. 6 and Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at McDonalds on Route 209 in Nesquehoning. Children aged 4-14 are welcome and encouraged to sign-up.

There is a sign up fee. Each family is required to participate in the fundraiser or could choose a $25 buyout fee. Fees are due at the time of registration.

Lansford

St. John Lutheran

Wednesday Holden Evening Prayer Service with Holy Communion at St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will begin at 7 p.m.

For those who wish to come early, a free simple supper will be served at 6 p.m. followed by a brief Bible study at 6:30.

Service will not be held if school is canceled or dismissed early due to bad weather on Wednesdays.

Ash Wednesday at Meed's

Meed's United Methodist Church, 126 W. Catawissa St., will celebrate Ash Wednesday service, Feb. 13 at 7:15 p.m.

All are welcome to attend.
