The engagement of Taryn Ashley Heisler and Derek Crayton, both of Schnecksville, has been announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Barry and Michelle Heisler of Tamaqua.
A 2001 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, she is employed by Dr. Jean McGill.
Her fiance is the son of Frank and Linda Crayton of Berwick.
A 2000 graduate of Berwick Area High School, and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, he is employed in the financial services industry.
The couple is planning a May 18, 2013 wedding.
