Safe Haven Pet Rescue

Safe Haven Pet Rescue will have a volunteer meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m., at Cherry's Family Restaurant, Route 209 near Route 534, Kresgeville. For more information, email SafeHaven@epix.net.

Safe Haven Pet Rescue will hold an Adoption Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Sunday, Feb. 17, at Tractor Supply, Route 209, Brodheadsville.

They will have many young dogs available.

A pre-adoption application with references and a home visit are required before adoption.

Safe Haven Rescue needs volunteers to help with adoption days, fundraising, transporting dogs to vets and groomers and fostering homeless dogs until they find their forever homes.

Free clothing and food distribution

Hope Fellowship Mission of Seventh Day Adventists will have clothing and food for those in need. Hours will be on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 2:30-4:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. until noon.

The building is located one-half mile past the PVE and PVI schools on Polk Township Road.

It is sponsored by the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
