Area woman celebrates 92 years

Frances Zellner, a resident at The Village at Palmerton, celebrated her 92nd birthday on Feb. 7.

She is originally from Slatington, and was married to the late Clarence Zellner.

Frances enjoys "people watching." She says, "They do silly things when they think no one is looking."

Her favorite things to do are watch game shows and listen to gospel music.

She has one son, John, who lives in Slatington.

Frances enjoyed being the center of attention during the noon meal when she shared a birthday cake with the other residents, care staff and her son.
