Ash Wednesday service
St. John's Lutheran Church, South Aveue, will hold Ash Wednesday services at 7 p.m. on Feb. 13. The service will begin at 7 p.m. During the season of Lent, the church will have soup and scripture every Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock. On Feb. 20, there will be vegetable soup; Feb. 27, sandwiches; March 6, noodle soup and March 13, hamburger BBQ. All are welcome to attend. Each evening will close with a song and prayer.
Bloodmobile
The American Red Cross bloodmobile will be at Memorial Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 1-6 p.m. Donors must be 17 years of age and older.
Community supper
St. Mark's Episcopal Church will host its monthly free community supper on Sunday, Feb. 24, from 4-6 p.m. The menu this month is meat loaf.
