Baseball sign-ups
Lansford Baseball Association will be holding sign-ups for T-ball, Little League and Babe Ruth for players age 5-15 and girls softball for players ages 8-14. Babe Ruth players ages 13-15 from Tamaqua Area are eligible to sign up.
Dates are Feb. 26, 27, and 28 at the Lansford Legion from 6-8 p.m. Registration fees and fundraisers are payable at this time.

St. Paul's Schedule
St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 123 W. White St., Summit Hill announces the following schedule for the upcoming weeks.
Midweek Lenten service will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church at 1 E. Abbott St. in Lansford.
A soup and sandwich supper will be offered at 6 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend.
A confirmation class will be held on March 5 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
On March 6, the midweek Lenten service will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's in Summit Hill with the soup and sandwich supper starting at 6 p.m.
Church council will meet at 7 p.m. on March 12.
March 13 midweek Lenten service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansford and Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, Summit Hill on March 20. Services begin at 7 p.m.
Sunday school class at St. Paul's is held each week at 9 a.m. followed by worship services at 10:30 a.m. with Vicar Ben Seibert presiding. Visitors are always welcome

NCFC Ladies Auxiliary
The next meeting of the New Columbus Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
The hospitality committee will be Ursula Digiglio and Marion Tyahla.
Easter egg hunt
An Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. at the Nesquehoning Recreation Center. Children must be residents of Nesquehoning and be 10 years old or younger to participate.
