St. Paul's at a glance
The Church Council meeting of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 123 W. White St., Summit Hill, will be held on Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
On Jan. 13, a meeting will be held for all Sunday school teachers and interested parents immediately following worship service to discuss youth activities.
Confirmation class will be held on Jan. 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
On Jan. 26 a Miller blood drive will be held at the church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in memory of Paige Rex.

Sunday school classes are held each Sunday at 9 a.m. All children are welcome.
Worship services begin at 10:30 a.m. with Vicar Ben Siebert presiding.

Communion Sunday
The Service of the Lord's Supper will be held during the 9 a.m. Morning Worship on Sunday, Jan. 6, at First Congregational Church, Coaldale. The service will be followed by Sunday School at 10 a.m.
On Wednesday, Jan. 9, Kids KIub will meet at 6 p.m.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary
The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nesquehoning Memorial VFW Post 8008 will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, beginning at 6:30 p,m., weather permitting. President Amanda Breiner will preside at the session.
