Shocking TV

Dear Editor:

My, how times have changed. And not always for the better.

Is it now socially acceptable to put on live TV what went on during the CNN broadcast of New Year's Eve with Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper? To his credit, Cooper at least tried to turn it back to clean shenanigans, but Griffin would have none of that.

Is our society so degenerated now that CNN thinks this is OK to allow, nevermind that there may be whole families watching the festivities?

Oh my, I never thought I would live to see the day where we practically have live sex on a cable channel that's not even an adults only station.
