The engagement of Jenna Gerber of Tamaqua to Jason Derr of Coplay, has been announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Gerber of Tamaqua.
She is a 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and earned a bachelor of science degree in 2011 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. She is currently employed by Lilly Pharmaceuticals.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rhonda Zawaski of Andreas and Paul Derr of Weatherly.
He is a 2001 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute. He is currently employed by Air Products.
A wedding is planned for May 4 of this year at Willow Tree Grove in Orefield.
