File for divorce

Thomas J. Buchman filed suit for divorce from Pamela Mae Buchman, both of 797 Ringtown Road, Zion Grove, North Union Township. They were married Nov. 10,1999.

Lisa A. Spahn, Zion Grove R.1, started a divorce proceeding against James B. Spahn, 18095 Black Mallard Way, Onancock, Va. They were married May 16, 1992.

Divorces granted

Rebecca M. Wagner was granted a divorce from Robert B. Wagner, both of Orwigsburg; They were married July 3, 2001.

Francis R. Behm, Pine Grove, was granted a divorce from Tara E. Behm, Saint Clair. They were married Sept. 25, 2004.

Tara M. McCabe was granted a divorce from Patrick McCabe Jr., both of Frackville. They were married April 29, 2006.

Victoria McCurdy-Russell, Pottsville, was granted a divorce from Scott J. Russell, Susquehanna. They were married June 29, 1981.

Fails to appear

Adrienne E. Yawornicky, 34, Girardville, failed to appear in court for her non-jury trial and Judge Charles M. Miller issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

She was to go on trial on charges of driving under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Public Defender Attorney Kent Watkins told the court he has not been able to reach her, she failed to answer notices or telephone calls and that he heard she may be in rehab but had no address. She was cited by Shenandoah Lt. Gary Keppel.

Warrant hearing

The bench warrant which brought Laurie Ann Lauer, 51, Orwigsburg, to court was dissolved by Judge Charles M. Miller after a hearing and bail was set at $5,000 percentage cash with special conditions attached. They include that the defendant must reside at 111 N. Eighth St., Allentown, and cannot relocate without court permission, and her bail forfeiture set aside and the additional amount of bail must be posted before being released from prison.

Lauer faces charges of theft of a cell phone. The bench warrant was issued when she failed to appear for a preliminary hearing before a magisterial district judge.

Revoke parole

Jessica Gladys Burd, 37, Ashland, had her parole revoked by Judge Charles M. Miller and she was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of her sentence and her 328 days of liberity were disallowed and added to the sentence.

Her maximum date for her release is now March 15, 2015. She is eligible to re-apply for parole on Nov. 10. Burd pleaded guilty in June 2012 to theft of a purse and personal jewelry and after serving 31 days in prison was released on parole.
