Palmerton couple celebrates 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Larry A. Hahn recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were united in marriage on June 15, 1963 at St. Matthew's Union Church, Kunkletown, by the Rev. Adan Bohner.

The former Margaret Shupp is retired and a homemaker.

Her husband is currently employed at Simcoe Beverage in Walnutport.

The couple has three children: Karen, married to Mark Stevko; Keith, married to Jean; and Kevin. All are from Palmerton. They also have six grandchildren: Kristen, Ashley, Elizabeth, Brittany, Andrea and Michael.

They marked their golden anniversary with a family dinner at Cherry's Sunset Family Restaurant in Kresgeville.
