People aren't stupid

Dear Editor:

I have got to reply to the letter on Feb. 9 from the laea Quote, The Lehighton Area Education Association would like to clarify to the public that taxes will NOT be raised to satisfy step and column movement plus an improvement to the salary schedule. How stupid do you think the people of this area are?

One of the largest if not the largest expenses a company or district has is employment thru salaries, benefits and so on. Please whatever it is you are smoking, please pass it around because I want to live in your fairytale world.

This is from the fed up taxpayers !
