Shocking news on health care
Dear Editor:
A recent study on rising costs in health care as reported on CNN and Time Magazine shows that hospitals across the United State are charging enormous amounts of money and there seems to be no end in sight.
For example, a pill may cost you $55 where at a drug store will cost you a nickel. A day in a room in the hospital will cost around $1000, water and a tissue may cost you $200. where by CEOs for non-profit hospitals are making one to three million dollars a year.
On the other hand, if budget cuts take place next Friday and perhaps you read or saw the news lately, what are people going to do? Of course I know who is to blame.
Sincerely,
Larry Consoli
