Band concerts

Pleasant Valley Intermediate School fifth grade band concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 in the school gym.

The sixth grade band concert will be held Thursday, May 9, also in the gym.

Safe Haven

Safe Haven Pet Rescue will hold an adoption day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at Tractor Supply, Route 209, Brodheadsville.

Safe Haven will have many young dogs available to meet and get to know. Safe Haven requires a pre-adoption application with references and a home visit prior to adoption

Young at Heart Seniors

The Young at Heart Seniors will meet the Tuesday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at the Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company.

Historical society

Polk Township Historical Society will meet Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Polk Township municipal building.
