Laymen's accepting donations

St. Matthew's UCC's Laymen's Fellowship is now accepting donations of sugar, milk and Carnation Evaporated Milk to make homemade ice cream for the Strawberry Festival. They are also in need of raffle items and donations of cake for the strawberry shortcake. The recipe is available in the White Dove Flyer which can be accessed on the church's website at www.stmatts.org.

If you would like to make any donations, please drop them off at the church during office hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. or on Sunday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

St. Matthew's cookbook

St. Matthew's UCC is in the process of creating a cookbook and welcomes recipes from the public. Mail them to 102 Church St., Kunkletown, PA 18058 or email to Rose at stmatts@ptd.net.

PVEN needs

The PVEN is in need of cereal and peanut butter, as well as any food items you are able to donate to help feed the less fortunate in the community.

There is also a need for gently-used king and queen size sheets and comforters.

Items can be dropped off at the church during office hours and Sunday mornings.

Exercising seniors

There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10 a.m.
