Fleming retires from US Air Force

Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Bethann A. Fleming has retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Fleming is the superintendent for knowledge management assigned to the 12th Air Force at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The senior master sergeant had served in the military for 26 years.

She is the daughter of Mary Jane Hittner of Matthew Avenue, Palmerton.

Her husband, Gregory, is the son of Maryann and Gordon Straw of Canterbury Circle, Vera, Fla.

Fleming graduated in 1987 from Palmerton High School and received an associate of arts in 1998 from the Community College of the Air Force, Maxwell, Ala.
