Tree lighting

There will be a Tree Lighting ceremony at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Eldred Township municipal building. There will be caroling and cookies and hot chocolate.

Donna Diehl is asking everyone to donate one Christmas tree ornament. Also, there will be a bin for anyone to bring a new unwrapped toy for the Toys For Tots program. If you have any questions, call Donna at 610-381-3392.

Historical society

The Eldred Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Eldred Township municipal building. It is open to anyone.

Exercising seniors

There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company from 9:30-10 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
