Salem St. Paul's

Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church's youth choir will meet for practice at 11:35 a.m., Sunday, Oct 6. Also, there will be a blood pressure screening at 11:40 a.m. Council meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 7. On Thursday, Oct. 10, senior choir will meet at 7 p.m.

Polk Township Historical Society

Polk Township Historical Society will meet Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Polk Township municipal building. All are invited to attend.

Polk Township Fire Prevention

National Fire Prevention Week begins on Sunday, Oct. 6 and lasts through Saturday, Oct. 12. Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company is hosting its annual Fire Safety Day on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 12-3 p.m. at its location along Rt. 209, Kresgeville.

There will be lots to see and do for kids of all ages as volunteer firefighters demonstrate the workings of the trucks and equipment and there will be displays inside with information to help keep your family and home safe.

The West End Volunteer Fire Company will also be working with Polk to educate the students at Polk Elementary School on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
