Voting change
Due to the bridge construction project on East Broad Street, voters in Tamaqua's Precinct 3 will see a temporary change in polling site. Instead of the Tamaqua ABC High Rise, the voting place has been changed to Tamaqua Borough Hall, 320 E. Broad St.
Any voter who will find it difficult to travel to borough hall may apply for an absentee ballot.
Applications are available at the ABC High Rise, the office of state Rep. Jerry Knowles and at the Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce office.
SS. Peter and Paul
The Holy Name Society of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church will meet at 8 p.m. this Thursday. The meeting will be preceded by a Mass at 7:30 p.m.
