Lenten service
The next Lenten service will be at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 9 at Salem UCC in Gilbert. The Rev. Deb Scheffey will be the guest preacher.
There will be a soup and sandwich hour beginning at 6:30 p.m. Salem UCC will provide the soup, you bring your own sandwich.
Chestnut Ridge Seniors
The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will meet at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 10 at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co. They will be celebrating Easter with Easter eggs and cupcakes. They will be playing bingo. Bring a bag lunch.
Cemetery clean up
If you have any removable items on a grave at St. Matthew's UCC's cemetery, please remove them by April 11. They will be cleaning the cemetery on Saturday, April 12 to prepare for mowing season. Any items not removed will be thrown away.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
If you like to knit or crochet, but it is not mandatory, think about participating in the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Matthew's UCC. In addition of looking for volunteers to help make the shawls, they are also looking for donations of yarn or money to buy yarn. If interested, call Connie Moretz at 610-681-4235.
