Local NCC students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa

Several area students were among the 147 new members from Northampton Community College to been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for students at two-year colleges.

To qualify for membership students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average, be enrolled in an associate degree program and perform community service.

The inductees include:

Danielsville: Ann Gaydos, Stephen Mikisits

Kresgeville: James Durick

From Saylorsburg: Shannon Nordmeyer, Kyle Tamraz, Fatma Tufan

From Walnutport: Lauren Nikisher, Dane Pizzo
