Mortgage foreclosure

The following action was filed as a mortgage foreclosure for alleged default on a loan.

Nationstar Mortgage, 350 Highland Drive, Lewisville, Texas, filed against Sharon M. Temple, 408 Ore St., Bowmanstown, over property at that address. Sought is $125,522.14 and continuing interest.

Bill owed

R.F. Ohl Fuel Oil Inc., 400 Interchange Road, Lehighton, filed an action against Allan Schiano, 30 Holland St., Summit Hill, alleging he owes a bill of $2,052.17 for services provided.

Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, Norfolk, Va., filed five actions as follows: Joseph D. Breiner, 350 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning, seeking $2,874.15; Eric D. Long, 2381 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive East, Lehighton, seeking $2,586.82; Jeremy Green, 179 Unionville Rd., Jim Thorpe, and Sandra Green, 27 Schoolhouse Rd., Jim Thorpe, seeking $2,235.46; Elizabeth Bartosevich, 337 Second St., Weatherly, seeking $2,764.20; and Rick Kester, 246 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, seeking $3,095.10.

Sterling Jewelers Inc., Akron, Ohio, filed against Barry J. Pointon, 530 Hamilton St., Palmerton, over a bill owed seeking $9,409.

Discover Bank, New Castle, Del., filed against Jody L. Miller, 146 Lauderburn Ave., Weatherly, seeking $9,669.21.

Divorce action

Travis Williams, 960 Fireline Rd., Palmerton, filed against Tracy Williams, 460 James St., Lehighton. They were married Oct. 30, 1993.

Confessionof Judgment

Milestone Bank, 1980, S. Easton Rd., Doylestown, filed an action, as a Confession of Judgment, against Keystone Pellet Inc., Equipment Dynamics Inc., and Ecotherm Inc., all of 2115 Little Gap Rd., Palmerton, alleging the defendants defaulted on a loan agreement. Sought is $1,205,153.44 plus interest, costs, and fees.

Accident suit

Linda and Robert Ricco, 182 Suffolk Ave., Staten Island, N.Y., filed a civil action against JFBB Ski Areas Inc, SR940, Jack Frost Mountain Rd., Blakeslee, and Peak Resorts Inc., 1 S. Lake Drive, Lake Harmony.

The suit states on March 23, 2013, Linda Ricco was riding a snow tube down a tubing hill at Big Boulder Ski Area, owned by the defendants, when she reached the bottom, the mats which were in place to slow down and stop the snow tube failed to stop her.

As a result she proceeded across the mats up a hill and struck a support pole resulting in severe and disabling injuries detailed in the suit.

Negligence against the defendants is alleged and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of four counts.
