Trachsville couple married 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eckley, Trachsville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 29, 1964, in Palmerton.

Mrs. Eckley is the former Connie Bollinger, daughter of the late Richard and Alverta Bollinger of Palmerton. Her husband is the son of the late Adam and Lillian Eckley of Kresgeville.

The Eckleys have two children: Michelle Foster, and her husband, Steven, of Kunkletown; and Mark, and his wife, Brenda, of Palmerton.

They have two grandchildren, Emily and Aaron Foster.

They were the guests at a surprise 50th anniversary party on Aug. 17 at Hideaway Hills in Kresgeville, hosted by their children.
